Our Chapter presented two conservation minded local students with scholarships. The scholarship awards were presented by David Perdue, the chapter’s Scholarship Committee chair, during the July 21st member’s meeting.

June 2021 Monthly Chapter Meeting

On the morning of Saturday, May 22nd, 2021, the weather cooperated with cool breezes and moderate temperatures for the SCCC (Suffolk Clean Community Commission) Tire Amnesty Recycling event held off Carolina Road in Suffolk.

Park Cleanup/Maintenance Day April 2021

Early on Saturday, April 24th sixteen Chapter volunteers met at the park for the spring cleanup and maintenance work day. The weather cooperated with overcast skies, cool temperatures and holding off the rain until later in the afternoon.
