|Individual||Individual Membership are for adults 18 years of age or older.|
|Family||Family membership includes the member, spouse and children under the age of 18 who reside at home.|
|Student||Student membership are available for students that are between the age of 18 and 21 or are a full-time undergraduate until their 25th birthday.|
Notice to All Prospective Members:
To apply for membership, the first step is to attend two monthly chapter dinner meetings as scheduled on our chapter website calendar of events. (Our meetings usually are held on the third Wednesday of the month at the King’s Fork Community House in Suffolk, VA.) Follow the Join-Us hyperlink for more information.
Notice to All Existing Members:
Please pay your membership dues upon receipt of your membership annual renewal USPS mail packet that is sent to you by our Membership Chair, so that your membership doesn’t lapse! The cutoff for paying your annual Chapter membership dues is December 31st of each year, with a grace period extension to allow you to pay at the January regular dinner meeting. Please pay by check, it makes it so much easier. But if you do pay cash, exact amount please and don’t mail money orders or cash to the Membership Chair.
Regarding those members who have family memberships: if you have children living at home who are in college full time, or in high school, or younger, they qualify for IWLA membership cards. Please send their names to our Membership Chair via email so membership cards can be procured for them. If anyone is interested in moving from regular to family membership, same rule applies, please contact the Membership Chair via email with name of spouse and children so your membership type can be switched.
