In lieu of a November Members’ meeting we hosted our annual Pancake Supper Fundraiser on Wednesday, November 16th at 5PM at the Kings Fork Community House.

Early Saturday morning, November 5, 2016, our members were joined by volunteers from Nansemond River Preservation Alliance (NRPA) for our second River Clean- up event. Also participating were employees and family members from the Sev1Tech company.

A new footbridge, erected at our Chapter park by Robert Gardner, Jr. as an Eagle Scout project, is ready for use. This bridge will allow our members and guests to navigate safely the gully beside the dam overflow area thereby avoiding treacherous rocky footing that would otherwise be required.
