March 2017 Adopt-A-Road Cleanup

Prior to our member’s dinner meeting on March 15th, an Adopt-A-Road cleanup along Kings Fork Road was accomplished. Danny Stephenson stepped up to act as coordinator of the event in the absence of a current Adopt-A-Road coordinator.  20 volunteers collected 23 bags of trash. A special thank you goes out to Danny and the other volunteers who turned out for the event in spite of the extremely cold temperature and windy conditions. One of the volunteers suggested the event should have been named the “Polar Pick of 2017”.
