27th Annual Clean the Bay Day
Saturday, June 6, 2015 9:00 a.m.–Noon.
Now in its 27th year, Clean the Bay Day is CBF’s annual stream and shoreline cleanup, during which citizen volunteers come out to remove litter and debris.
The Chesapeake Bay Foundation says about 125,000 pounds of litter were removed from Virginia’s shorelines during this volunteer event at 275 sites across the state with about 6,000 volunteers participating.
