Join-Us (Membership Application Process)
Advisory Notice for Prospective New Member Applicants: The S-N IWLA Board of Directors met on September 8th, 2020, and implemented the application process.
The current application process is as follows:
1. Prospective members will need to attend an orientation meeting at the S-N IWLA park. A group of up to six prospective members may attend the orientation. This orientation will be conducted by three (3) chapter members, to include at least two Board members or officers.
2. The applicant must submit to a criminal background and sex offender registry check. The cost of this background check is $25 for individual membership or $30 for a family membership to include the primary member and their spouse. The applicant will pay this fee when submitting their application during the orientation meeting.
3. The applicant must list three chapter committees on their application on which they would consider serving. The applicant will be contacted by one of these chapter committee chairs for the purpose of getting acquainted, and answering any questions the applicant may have. The applicant may be asked to serve on one of these committees as the need arises.
4. Upon the Board approving the application for membership there is a one-time initiation fee of $150 for a Family or Individual Membership payable to the chapter in addition to the annual membership dues.

Note: The New Member Application PDF form revision ‘v2020-12-16’ posted below is effective as of December 16, 2020, and must be submitted by the applicant for membership. Please do not submit the application form with this inquiry but bring it with you to the orientation meeting.
