Green Infrastructure Community Forum Meeting – November 14th 2016

The City of Suffolk Department of Planning & Community Development in conjunction with the Green Infrastructure Center will host a Green Infrastructure Community Forum on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 7 pm in City Council Chamber located in Suffolk City Hall, 442 West Washington Street.

This forum will provide an opportunity for citizens to develop a more thorough understanding of green infrastructure principles and concepts, review green infrastructure maps and data representative of our area, and provide public feedback. Included as part of the forum will be a 30-minute presentation by the Green Infrastructure Center, followed by an open house with several informational stations.

It is anticipated that this will be an interactive forum and input from the community is important. Isle of Wight County is also an active participant in this study and attendance by interested parties in both localities is encouraged.  For more information,  contact: Diana L.
