On Saturday, November 21st, several members of local Boy Scout Troop #1 and their troop leaders spent the day installing canoe storage racks at our park. These canoe racks were designed, built and installed as an Eagle Scout’s Service Project by a member of Troop#1.
These sturdy racks are sure to give us years of service. Once we have obtained the canoes, we can look forward to our first semi-annual Nansemond River clean-up session in the spring of 2016.
