2019 Annual Pancake Supper Fundraiser Recap

We had a good turn-out for this year’s pancake supper on November 13th at the Kings Fork Community House, an annual chapter fundraiser event that goes back several decades.  It takes a lot of volunteer hours over a three-day span to make this event a success and we offer a heartfelt thank  you to Rita Carpenter, Pancake Supper Chairperson for organizing this event, and to every Chapter Ike who participated whether moving/prep’ing the grills, setting up in the dining room, cooking, serving/waiting tables, managing the beverages/ice, working at the sign-in table, posting signs and directing traffic in the parking lot, obtaining outdoor lighting equipment, taking orders at the drive-through station, washing dishes, mopping floors, packing out trash, etc.

Also, a very hearty thank you goes to all the Chapter Ikes who sold pancake supper tickets prior to the event, and to the residents of Suffolk and surrounding areas who purchased those tickets in support of our chapter. For your viewing enjoyment, a slideshow of photos taken at this event is available below.
