2016 Education Scholarship Raffle Flyer
Each year, the S-N IWLA chapter awards education scholarships to students who’ve been accepted into or who are currently attending an accredited college, university, or technical school, and who are pursuing an appropriate course of study related to conservation and the environment.
The annual amount of funding for this scholarship depends on our selling raffle tickets. Our chapter is pledged to help preserve the Earth’s water, woodlands, wildlife, and open spaces, and also its natural heritage. Towards this pledge, we support the education and training of the next generation that will follow us.
Please help our chapter by purchasing a ticket. Cost of each ticket is $5.00 and there will be 5 great prizes (shown below) drawn at the July 20th, 2016 chapter dinner meeting. Ticket holders need not be present to win.
Tickets will also be available for pick-up at the Teddy Bear Hunt at our Chapter park on April 23rd, at Jerry Green’s Suffolk Radio & TV Service, or by contacting Joyce Dugan, Scholarship Raffle Coordinator, at 757.635.1054 or by email .
