Pam Omera, Arlington-Fairfax Chapter, accepts the award on behalf of our Chapter at the October, 2015 Division meeting.
For the second consecutive year, our Chapter has been awarded First Place in the VA Division for Chapter Efficiency, for Chapters having less than 500 members.
This award determination is based on several criteria including, but not limited to, adherence to proper bookkeeping procedures, preparation of annual budgets, sustained/or increasing membership counts, level of member volunteer participation, representation at IWLA conventions, and frequency of newsletters and web site maintenance, etc.
