\"\"The chapter hosted an open to the public fishing rodeo on Saturday September 27th. The weather reports were full of warnings of rain and thunderstorms that resulted in a low turnout. Only six of the fifteen registered participants attended the event. Those who did attend had a great time and stayed dry until the very end of the event when a stray rain shower passed by.<\/p>\n

The fish apparently didn’t pay attention to the forecast because all the participants were able to catch multiple fish.\u00a0 A drawing for a fishing pole and beginner tackle box was held at the end of the event. One young participant went home with the prize and a big grin on her face. Even though the turnout was low, the event was a great success.<\/p>\n
