Jones, Litter Control Coordinator, City of Suffolk \u2013 Public Works, to help collect trash, tires, old heavy appliances, glass bottles, and other such detritus from the roadside ditches alongside a 1 mile long bike path segment near Shoulders Hill Rd.<\/p>\n<p>This group consisted of neighbors who live along Shoulders Hill Rd, a few of our very own Chapter Ikes, and folks from other nonprofit organizations as well. \u00a0Over 70 tires were collected, and we were told that several hundred more tires had been removed by city personnel days before. \u00a0This should help alleviate the mosquito infestations of the type that we witnessed back in the fall during a preliminary reconnaissance of the area.<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few photos of volunteers in action helping keep Suffolk
